It is with a great deal of emotion that Carole and I have learned this morning the passing of Daya.
In all the years of activism I’ve been thru, Daya shines in my memories and in my heart as an exceptional individual and a person I could think about only in the most positive and highest standards.
As an intellectual, an activist and a comrade, Daya did influence me much more than he probably ever knew. The generosity of his words, his actions and his thought were, and still are, inspirational for me, even if we haven’t seen in years.
